King Ranch Museum Historical/Vaquero Festival

The King Ranch Museum presents the HIstorical/Vaquero Festival this Saturday, October 29th from 10am-4pm in Sarita, TX. The festival will feature
--"Rumbo Al'Anacua" a musical duet presenting music of the Ranchos of South Texas
--Cortez Music Studio award winning high school Mariachi vocalists Sebastian Vela, Bianca Cortex and Alyssa Guerra
--Native American Presentation "The Bear Clan Group" (dances, story telling, flint knapping, bow making, fire starting)
--Tejano reenactors
--Lecture by Tom Britten, Professor of History, UT Brownsville "THe LIpan Apache: People of Wind & Lightening"
--Chuck Wagon Cooking by Tejano cookers (chile con carne and pan de campo)
--Leather Craftsman Demonstrator - Jorge Maldonado
--Kenedy County Sheriff's Posse
-Concession Stand - Sarita Elementary School
